Referral Coordinator / Medical Office Assistant

Meadowlark Surgical Management Corporation is a well-established fast paced General Surgery private practice in Edmonton, AB. We are currently hiring a full time Referral Coordinator / Medical Office Assistant (Monday to Thursday from 07:45 to 16:00).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One year experience working in a medical office setting as a medical receptionist or medical office assistant is required.
• MOA / Clerical diploma is required.
• Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.

  Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Experience:

• Medical office: 1 year (required)

Work Location: In perso

• Receive incoming referrals and send referrals to triage for General Surgeons to review.
• Send correspondence to referring physician’s office with referral statuses.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• May be asked to assist the other MOAs or receptionist with additional tasks such as checking in patients, rooming patients, reschedule office appointments, etc.
