Description:

Key responsibilities will be Recruit and coach peer facilitator networks across various settings. Engaging with local people, services and partners to ensure local awareness and explore partnership opportunities and co-production activities. Working closely with operational colleagues to support and increase referrals and develop partnerships with all potential referrers in your locality. Attending local health forums/groups/meetings where required to represent ABL, promote the service and maintain local partnerships.
Update the partnership database with all contacts including required follow up contact. Assist with incoming and outgoing telephone calls. Take Stop Smoking Practitioner training to offer support to service users during your role. Skills and Competencies Required Experience of strategic and hands on development and delivery of a Peer Support Volunteer Team.
Oversee and measure the impacts of Sandwells marketing and communications strategy. Embed referral pathways to ensure efficiency and quality referrals into the service. Be experienced in community engagement and partnership working in a community health environment. Experience of building and maintaining community partnerships.
Positive and proactive with the ability to motivate, engage and support partnership delivery. Build strong relationships, foster trust and co-operation among colleagues, stakeholders, community leaders, commissioners and sub-contractors. Quality driven; you naturally seek high standards and actively seek to improve them. Value and remain open to new ideas and perspectives.
