Equans NZ is looking for a Refrigeration & HVAC Service Supervisor to join our friendly team supporting our customers in Auckland and the wider region.

We provide excellent technical know-how in design, installation and maintenance, with a unique combination of skills in Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and Mechanical Services.
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Relevant Trade Qualifications / 10+ field experience within the refrigeration and air conditioning industry
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience with:
- Proven experience in the commercial and industrial service, maintenance and installation of equipment within the refrigeration and building services industry;
- Demonstrated experience with controls and building management systems.
- Experience working with Transcritical CO2 systems is an advantage, however training will be provided where required.
- Excellent ability to build effective relationships with all stakeholders
- Previous experience in supporting field technicians
- Excellent communication skills to clearly relate with clients and peers
- Current Full Driver Licence
Responsibilities:

You’ll need a strong focus on providing top level customer service and will be instrumental in supporting our field technicians to be the best of the best. You will need to balance your priorities with time out in the field and time back at the branch assisting in quoting and other such tasks.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment with a genuine focus on the health and safety of yourself and others.
- Provide appropriate support to the local team through communication and provision of technical support and mentoring
- Be proactive in providing assistance to other employees and sub-contractors
- Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out as per relevant contracts
- Ability to determine job priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Liaise with clients and/or their representatives to discuss/resolve any issues arising from maintenance contracts or other work carried out
- Prepare quotations or estimates for installation or maintenance and/or related work as requested
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and processes to achieve high-quality business delivery objectives and outcomes to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Pro-actively strengthen customer relationships and create opportunities within the Equans business and community.
