Description:
In 2023, Swissport International AG provided best-in-class airport ground services for some 232 million airline passengers (2022: 186 million) and handled roughly 4.7 million tons of air freight (2022: 4.8 million) at 115 air cargo centers worldwide. Several of its warehouses have been certified for pharmaceutical logistics by IATA’s CEIV Pharma and by the British MHRA. At the end of December 2023, the world’s leader in airport ground services and air cargo handling, with currently around 60,000 employees, was active at 286 airports in 44 countries on six continents.
Responsibilities:
YOUR TASKS
- Implementation and Change Management: Leading change management efforts to drive adoption and acceptance of transformation initiatives across the organization aligned with the company’s vision, goals and market dynamics. Implementing comprehensive transformation and optimization projects, developing in cooperation with the respective functions, communication plans, training programs and engagement strategies to facilitate smooth transitions and minimize resistance to change
- Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for Lean processes and efficiency gains across functional areas. Working with stakeholders to redesign processes, streamline workflows, and eliminate bottlenecks to enhance operational effectiveness
- Technology Integration: Collaborating with the IT Team to implement technology solutions and platforms that support transformation objectives
- Performance Measurement: Establishing KPIs and metrics as well es milestones to track the progress and impact of the initiatives. Regularly monitoring and reporting on performance against targets, identifying areas for improvement and course correction as necessary
- Stakeholder Engagement: Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the regional management team, department heads, employees, customers, and partners
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by encouraging experimentation, learning and knowledge sharing. Identifying best practices and emerging trends to drive ongoing evolution and adaptation
- Project Management: Managing multiple, complex transformation and Lean projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and within budget. Providing regular updates to key stakeholders. Continuously seeking opportunities to optimize project management processes
