As a Regional Accounts Manager, you will effectively manage, promote, and grow isolation valve sales within the region by building and strengthening existing customer relationships, with a focus on after-sales products, services, and solutions, whilst prospecting for new opportunities.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Regular on-site customer visits and interaction with key technical, logistic, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Working closely with engineering & maintenance teams to discover and provide solutions to pain points.
  • Understanding and communicating customer maintenance schedules and product forecasting with Emerson’s factory and Customer Care teams.
  • Manage and maintain existing contracts, including performance review meetings and negotiations.
  • Drive promotional activities in the region i.e. product presentations, customer training, trade, and industry exhibitions.
  • Work with Emersons’ technical and commercial support teams to provide quotations and general and technical support for products and applications.
  • Actively prospect for new clients or opportunities within the region.Manage and update CRM, providing accuracy on key opportunities and initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates for the region by participating in regular pipeline reviews, team updates, and sales meetings.
  • Participate in planning activities to set and drive growth targets and activities within the region.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Tertiary or trade qualified in an engineering, science, or business discipline.
  • Previous Industrial sales account management experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of the Gladstone region (preferred).
  • Experience in sales budgeting processes; forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Understanding the technical aspects of the business and key business drivers.Previous experience using CRM &U SAP databases.
