EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Business development/sales within a freight forwarding environment is essential
- Multimodal freight services knowledge must include air freight
- Knowledge of local markets and industries and contacts within freight/logistics sector
- A full UK driver’s licence is required as this role involves travel
Responsibilities:
With a focus on Air Freight, you’ll be identifying freight service sales opportunities with businesses across the South of the UK. Managing your own schedule, you’ll have the flexibility to work from home, at our Hayes branch at Heathrow Airport and at customers’ offices.
- Identifying and acting on new business opportunities
- Creating and presenting bespoke solutions to potential customers
- Contract negotiations, closing new deals
- Participating in the implementation phase and ensuring a smooth handover to branch teams
- Establishing collaborative inter departmental relationships
- Maintaining relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business
- Updating pipelines of opportunities generated from leads
