Description:
Are you an enthusiastic and driven individual with a passion for building relationships and driving business growth? We’re on the lookout for a Regional Business Development Manager to join our friendly and dynamic team!
Manage and drive revenue within the United Kingdom and Ireland increasing its volume by defending and growing market share, identifying, and developing new business opportunities and building and expanding the presence of the company and its brands. The Regional Sales Manager shall be accountable for reaching KPI targets and the growth of revenue regionally and will manage the sales activities of the UK SHM sales team.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Ideally BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or related field along with 3-5 years of sales or marketing experience within the Construction Industry, or vocational equivolent,
- Knowledge of Structural Health Monitoring and/or Post-Tensioning is an asset.
- Strong sales track record with a consistent background of winning new business.
- Must be articulate, polished and professional, having a good communication manner with the ability to develop a rapport with key decision makers.
- Skilled in Networking, Persuasion, Prospecting, Public Speaking, Identification of Customer Needs and Challenges, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism, CRM and Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing business development and sales strategies,
- Strong communication and presentation skills with experience operating at all industry levels
- A self-motivated and disciplined approach is essential.
- The work environment includes business office, with a requirement to visit clients nationally.Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central ERP system is desirable.

Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for the development and management of a pipeline of tendering opportunities for the SHM business to deliver the forecast budget with understanding of:
- The market that SHM operate within for Structural Health Monitoring, post tensioning and repair and strengthening,
- Current and future technology in monitoring, post tensioning and repair and strengthening,
- Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system ensuring that it represents the most accurate forecast possible,
- Take full responsibility for providing data on market trends & price points (for both purchases and sales),
- Identify opportunities that enable early involvement of the customer buying process, systematic and proactive sales, while presenting value added solutions with company’s offering and capability,
- Work closely with Regional Director to jointly prepare monthly report with analysis of monthly results including new opportunities, order intake, order backlog, lost opportunities, client feedback, and forecasting of future performance,
- Sales team leadership, by managing the Sales Manager for ‘system sales’ to participate in the full sales process, increasing customer centricity
- Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, new partnerships, new ways to reach existing markets, or new product or service offerings to better meet the needs of existing markets.
- Promotion of the Dywidag brand by attending industry events and networking, taking stands at exhibitions, and
- Presenting at conferences, cold calling, and responding to incoming leads, and generating leads for regional sales teams. Nurturing and developing relationships with key customer accounts. Attend face-to-face meetings with clients, designers, and asset owners, providing specialist advice on Dywidag products and services.
- Working directly with the Marketing Department and the other Regional Sales Managers to develop coordinated marketing plans and a consistent external corporate identity globally. Ensure all team members represent the company in the best light.
- Research, analyze and report competition details and market share.
- Provide accurate forecasting of anticipated sales.
- Work with the technical staff to help identify customer needs and product requirements.
- Work with Operational staff to improve communication between sales, tendering and operations, ensuring that customer expectations are realized,Full knowledge and compliance to the DYWIDAG Sprit, DYWIDAG’s code of business conduct and policies on ethical behavior is of utmost importance.
