Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Looking for: A business development manager / product manager to head the growth and expansion of a premium consumer electronics and personal care product line across Asia, including countries like Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have at least 7+ years of experience handling consumer electronics or personal care products with companies like Philips, Samsung, HP, Dell, Electrolux, Panasonic, Sony, etc. The brand they will handle is a household name and is one of the most desirable brands in the market for home use and personal care.
The opportunity will require travel across the region, with the primary base in Singapore.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Market Analysis / Opportunity Mapping: Conduct in-depth research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. This includes overseeing market research and competitive analysis to inform decisions and strategies.
- Business Development: Identifying and securing new business opportunities (markets, clients, channel partnerships) in our key markets across Asia and South Asia. Candidate will be responsible for securing new accounts and generating new sales. This includes building and nurturing new relationships with channel partners.
- Driving revenue growth through targeted sales strategies and new revenue channels.
- Product marketing: Collaborate with the principal and local teams to identify how best to market the product portfolio to consumers in each geography
- Strategy Formulation: Define and communicate the growth vision and roadmap, aligning with overall company goals.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure a cohesive approach to product launches.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor product performance post-launch, gather customer feedback, and iterate on product features as needed.
- Negotiating high-level contracts and partnerships to align with the company’s business goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Solid Product Manager: 7+ years (Required)
- Overseeing consumer electronics & FMCG products: 7+ years (Required)
- Experience in being posted or working across Asia, especially in developing markets like Brunei, Myanmar, Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan
- Manage and resolve conflicts if any between the supply chain and warehouse teams
- Ensure that all shipping and other import/export regulations and documents are managed properly within the stipulated time
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate with good domination skills
- At least 10 years of experience in logistics and supply chain
- At least 5 years of experience in team handling of at least 5 members
- Must be motivated to take up new challenges and driven to ensure growth
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $6,000.00 per month
