Responsibilities:
- Procurement strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies for sea-, airfreight and barging categories to optimize our supply chain.
- Tender Management:
- Lead and coordinate global annual maritime tenders.
- Leveraging your negotiation skills to secure the most favorable terms and conditions and the subsequent contract creations. Completed by further smaller but regular tenders and price negotiations in the categories airfreight, seafreight and barging.
- Stakeholder management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics service providers, fostering collaboration and innovation to create value for the organization.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support, driving value across the organization.
- Barging capacity: You will procure the required barging capacity to ensure a reliable supply of liquid raw materials to our Western European production sites.
- Logistics Optimization: Continuously seeking out opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency, without compromising quality or service.
