Job Summary:
The Regional Category Manager Americas- Marcom is responsible for providing technical expertise and support to ensure that procurement processes and activities meet standards on its categories. This role involves conducting procurement analyses, performing data analysis, and developing and implementing procurement/transformation plans.
The Regional Category Manager Americas- Marcom works closely with cross-functional teams to develop effective procurement strategies, optimize costs and guarantee the quality of products and services.
Additionally, this role involves training and mentoring procurement staff and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Position based in Mexico – Chihuahua - hybrid.

Required qualifications:

Hard Skills:

  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field with at least 5 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
  • Significant experience in managing tender processes and contractual negotiations
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
  • Experience with identifying implementing process improvements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments, as well as a high level of autonomy
  • Significant experience in managing tender processes and contractual negotiations
  • Solid project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and report progress.
  • Good ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency in English communication.

  • Proven ability to influence and drive change across various levels of the organization. Ability to interact with high-profile representatives (VP, Director, Sr Director, etc.)
