The National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA) is hiring a regional team member to focus on the Rocky Mountain Area. The main objective of the role is to execute NFSA’s mission within this area by fostering positive relationships with association members, ensuring their satisfaction, and enhancing engagement and retention. Key responsibilities include:
- Member Relations: Building and maintaining positive relationships with members, ensuring their needs are met, and promoting the fire sprinkler industry.
- Engagement and Retention: Developing strategies to improve member experiences, engaging members in association activities, and retaining membership.
- Event Coordination: Organizing and coordinating membership events, ensuring they align with the association’s goals.
- Communication and Collaboration: Facilitating effective communication between the members, local chapters, and the Area Directors, and collaborating to meet the association’s objectives.
- Government Relations: Involvement in promoting the association’s interests in government relations.
The role emphasizes making connections, motivating others, and achieving results through engaging communication and teamwork. The ideal candidate should be a strong communicator with a natural ability to inspire and influence, while also being adaptable to changing environments. The role requires a blend of independent work and teamwork, with a strong focus on member service and organizational development.
Requirements:
Desired Experience/Skill include:
- Experience building and maintaining positive relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications.
- Experience in member relations, customer service, or a related field a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software like Dynamics 365 or demonstrated ability to adapt to new technology.
- Project management, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
