We’re on the hunt for a Regional Destination Manager who loves the open road, is excited to travel extensively throughout Italy, and thrives on creating outstanding travel experiences. This unique role combines contract negotiation, product development, and cross-functional collaboration, with the goal of delivering truly unforgettable Italian journeys for our customers. You’ll also spend 2-3 days per month in our Crawley office, working alongside our team to bring our Italian travel vision to life.

Over the years, Citalia has built great relationships with Italian hoteliers which allows them to offer a whole range of outstanding value offers, many of which are exclusive to Citalia.
Responsibilities:
Leadership - While this role has a strong operational and strategic focus, you’ll lead by example, and have opportunities in future to lead a small team of executives and managers.
Contracting & Supplier Management - You’ll have a vital role in the contracting and procurement process, managing relationships with Italian suppliers for accommodations and experiences. Your task is to secure the best commercial terms, ensuring our offerings are competitive and customer-focused. You’ll lead reviews, analyse supplier performance, and make decisive calls on changes when needed, all while ensuring that every contract is accurate and meets our standards.
Product Development & Strategy - With an in-depth understanding of the Italian travel market, you’ll develop and implement a strategic destination plan that aligns with our broader Tailormade strategy. This includes spotting trends, leading market analysis, and identifying new product opportunities. Your insights will shape our product offerings and empower our sales teams with the knowledge and inspiration they need to make Italy an irresistible choice for our customers.
Marketing & Promotion - In collaboration with our marketing team, you’ll drive targeted campaigns that put Italy front and centre. Lead all aspects of promotional agreements and ensure accuracy of both online and offline content to highlight the outstanding quality and distinctive appeal of our Italian products. You’ll also contribute ideas for direct mail campaigns, blogs, and social media, bringing Italy to life for our customers.
