The Europe team works collaboratively with IEEFA colleagues and other organizations both internationally and in the region.

  • Demonstrated commitment to IEEFA’s mission to accelerate the transition to a diverse, sustainable and profitable energy economy.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a management role.
  • Experience with exercising strategic judgement, flexibility and problem-solving skills within short time frames and in matters where there is little to no precedent.
  • Knowledge or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of financial and energy issues related to the fossil-fuel and renewable-energy industries as well as knowledge of how marginalized communities are affected by fossil fuels and climate change.
  • A high level of emotional intelligence with the ability to inspire and influence others.
  • Excellent mediation, negotiation and interpersonal skills for handling and resolving complex issues.
  • Knowledge of requirements, practices, and procedures for developing grant proposals and budgets.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working alongside a global team and a track record of creating inclusive work cultures.
  • Experience with campaign strategy development and implementation.
  • Business fluency in one or more European languages, in addition to English

Responsibilities:

The Regional Director, Europe, will serve in a leadership role on IEEFA’s Europe team, working alongside regional and global research and communications professionals to ensure that IEEFA meets its strategic goals.
