REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Humanity Hospice, L.L.C., Oklahoma owned and operated, is seeking a full time Regional Director of Business Development with an extensive book of business in the OKC Metroplex. As a key member of our marketing team, you will leverage your connections and experience to drive referrals and expand our reach within the community. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a hospice marketer with a current and substantial book of business.
• Demonstrated success in driving business growth and achieving marketing goals.
• Previous experience managing and developing a marketing team preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of the hospice care industry and the local healthcare landscape.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with a commitment to excellence.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field preferred
• Experience managing client accounts and/or relationships
• Healthcare experience preferred

The Regional Director of Business Development oversees and facilitates a seamless transition for patients discharging from a facility setting or for patients in private home settings to the care of Humanity Hospice, L.L.C. This individual understands and navigates their role in leading their team to serving patients and their families, participating in and/or providing support and ongoing hospice education to potential and established hospice referral sources, and continued growth. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversees and develops Business Development Representatives in their regional coverage areas
• Oversees and develops the maintenance of ongoing relationships with hospice referral resources
• Oversees and educates patients, family members, and other referral sources on the benefits of the hospice care
• Oversees and explains hospice services admission procedures to the patient and his/her family members
• Oversees, educates and assist with the completion of necessary legal documents with patient, family or POA for admission to Humanity Hospice, L.L.C. for hospice services
• Oversees development and shares knowledge about admission criteria and timelines for admission
• Oversees and shares knowledge about resources available for the patient and his/her family members
• Oversees and shares knowledge of the status of all patients receiving Respite or General Inpatient Care and participates in the communication between Humanity Hospice, L.L.C., the facility and/or physician
• Oversees and shares Knowledge about available Medicare Hospice Benefits
• Assist Business Development Representative in obtaining all information needed by the Intake personnel required for patient admission
• Oversees and assists with the coordination and hosting of community and marketplace events
• Oversees and assists with the coordination and hosting of training sessions on the benefits of hospice
• Oversees and develops facility activities further strengthening hospice referral resource relationships and positively impacting patient wellbeing
• Routinely meets with the Regional Director of Business Development (peer to peer) to discuss marketing goals, industry trends, best practices, etc.
• Routinely meets with the Administrator/Owner to discuss marketing goals, industry trends, best practices, etc.
• Oversees, develops and participates in rotation for creating agenda and hosting internal marketing staff meeting with others on the marketing team to further strengthen internal resources while focusing on increasing community presence (growth opportunities)
• Leads and assists in professional development community opportunities; sharing best practice(s) with others on the marketing team to maintain and improve job performance
• Oversees, maintains and develops marketing/project plan which is shared on a weekly basis with leadership
• Represent Humanity Hospice, L.L.C. in a professional and positive matter in all interactions to include networking events and other activities outside normal business hours
• Maintains a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
• Maintains marketing network memberships by participating in events/activities sponsored by group on a regular basis
