QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Education
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent related field/Hotel experience.
Experience
- 5-10 years of general management experience in a related full-service, luxury, or resort property. The type and level of experience required may vary slightly based on the size and complexity of the operation. Must speak fluent English; other languages preferred.
Other:
- Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances, are utilized frequently.
- Strong reading and writing abilities are required.
- Problem-solving, reasoning, motivation, organizational, and training abilities are used often.
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

- Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees, and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand, and the company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth, market share, and profitability across the region.
- Establish performance goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for each hotel and monitor progress towards achieving objectives.
- Provide operational guidance and support to hotel managers to ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct regular property visits and inspections to assess service quality, cleanliness, and maintenance standards.
- Analyze financial reports and key metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with Hotel General Managers to develop and monitor the performance of financial and operational plans/budgets and sales and marketing plans for the hotel which support the overall objectives of the corporation. Control labor and expenses in all areas of operations.
- Champion a culture of service excellence and guest satisfaction across all hotels in the region.
- Monitor guest feedback and online reviews and implement action plans to address areas of concern and enhance guest experiences.
- Recruit, train, and develop hotel managers and their teams to ensure a high-performing and engaged workforce.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to support career growth and development.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement strategies to drive sales, increase market share, and attract new business.
- Monitor sales performance and market trends, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve revenue targets.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local communities, government officials, and other stakeholders to support business objectives and enhance the hotel brand’s reputation.
- May assist with other duties as assigned.
