POSITION PU   POSITION PURPOSE: The Regional Director of Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth and maximizing sales performance across multiple hotel properties within a designated region. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, leading sales teams, and fostering relationships with key clients and partners.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (include the following. Other duties may be assigned.) ❖ Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability across all hotel properties. ❖ Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales teams at each property to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives. ❖ Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth. ❖ Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and local businesses to drive group and transient bookings. ❖ Collaborate with marketing and revenue management teams to create compelling promotional campaigns and packages. ❖ Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions to enhance team performance and product knowledge. ❖ Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics, providing reports and insights to senior management. ❖ Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the hotel brand and drive new business. ❖ Ensure compliance with brand standards and company policies in all sales activities   QUALIFICATION STANDARDS: ❖ Bachelor degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required; a Masters degree is preferred. ❖ Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the hospitality sector. ❖ Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a multi-property environment. ❖ Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior in the hospitality industry.   SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
