We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Regional Director BB. This role operated a Hybrid working model, with the base location being either London or Worthing.
In this role, you will:
- Assisting in establishing new Global Trade Solutions relationships and strengthening existing ones, whilst ensuring fair outcomes for all types of customers
- Communicate a clear vision for the GTS that is aligned to the overall HSBC vision, Values and goals, and inspires and engages people to create an inclusive, high performing, customer-centred culture
- Lead, develop and motivate the a team of 13 to attract, retain and develop the capacity, capability and talent to provide for succession and ensure delivery of business objectives
- Set expectations, share best practice and manage, monitor, coach and develop team leaders and others to ensure that they maximise their performance, meet the required standards, and continuously develop their capabilities and experience
- Managing the identification sales opportunities and ensuring these are developed
- Devising plans and strategies to generate new business, as well as increasing revenue for existing ones to achieve asset growth, sales or revenue targets
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, which may include regional heads, CMB leadership and product specialists, to maximise cross-selling opportunities for the bank
Requirements
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Knowledge of Global Trade Solutions services, products and techniques
- Knowledge of the Commercial Banking market both globally and specifically relating to the local environment, including the competitive landscape, with a detailed knowledge of competitor propositions
- Detailed knowledge of Credit & Risk including techniques to mitigate risk
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong leadership and team motivational skills
- Excellent range of communication skills, including written, verbal, and the ability to deliver compelling presentations
