The Livestock Branch with the Ministry of Agriculture has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a self-motivated engineer to join their team as a Regional Engineer to assist with ensuring environmentally sound development of the livestock industry in southern Saskatchewan.
Responsibilities:
- To deliver the regulatory requirements of the Intensive Livestock Provisions of The Agricultural Operations Act.
- To conduct environmental site assessments and inspections, investigate complaints related to water pollution, and present information about the legislation and environmental protection.
- To provide design services and technical expertise to help livestock producers identify options to address environmental concerns.
