We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Regional Engineering Project Manager to join our Engineering Team based within our Scottish Cluster, part of Finsbury Food Group.

The Regional Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for the effective management of Engineering projects of large value or complexity across the Scottish cluster of Finsbury Food sites; covering Lightbody in Hamilton, Johnstones in East Kilbride and Lees in Coatbridge. The purpose of the role is to manage capital investment projects using a systematic approach to deliver excellence. The role will manage the Capital budgets for the regional sites in conjunction with the sites and Cluster Director ensuring planning for future capital investments is outlined for the next financial years.
This is a fast-paced role, where the successful candidate will have excellent skills in managing change projects in a constantly changing environment, balancing the demands of customers, management and staff.
They will have worked in a similar position, where they would have gained experience in effective balancing the needs and demands of site with regards capital expenditure whilst ensuring the spend targets are met and not exceeded.
Depending on the project location and requirements, the successful candidate will have the experience to manage their time and location effectively to deliver the project to time.

Responsibilities:
As the Regional Engineering Project Manager, you will work on delivering large and complex projects across the region while effectively managing of capital budget in conjunction with the Regional (Cluster) Director and development of a multi-year investment plan for the regional sites. You will cooperate closely with Procurement teams to ensure that purchases are always done in line with internal processes and standards and provide value to our business. You will strive to forge strong bonds with Site Leads and Engineering Leadership, becoming more aligned and customer orientated as a result. You will ensure the quality of Project Management across the site by development of systems and processes with regular review and reporting on capital spends across the region in conjunction with the Finance Manager for the sites. You will a driver in the development of new opportunities for cost saving and/or automation projects to support the company strategic goals by the building of User Requirement Specification (URS) for projects to ensure that the solution developed always matches the need of the business.
Working with people and building positive cross functional relationships in this role is crucial, as you will provide support and leadership for project management across the sites and work with peers across the group to develop standards for project management as well as equipment standards for the group. You will liaise regularly with Site Leads and the Engineering team to ensure the understanding of project needs is always fully aligned. Another exciting part of the role will be supporting the personal development opportunities for the wider engineering team members, involving them with engineering projects as part of their development plans where possible.
