Description:
Reporting to the Regional Finance Controller, you will be responsible to manage the full spectrum of financial and controlling function, while providing financial advisory to multiple Business Units (“BUs”). You will ensure the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data.
The successful candidate must have strong analytical skills, operationally hands-on, highly motivated and have a problem-solving attitude to ensure our financial management is accurate and effective.
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing and reviewing work done by a team of finance staffs;
- Review monthly and year-end financial closing and management reporting;
- Oversee assigned regional entities’ finance matters and operations;
- Providing financial advice and proactivesupport to the management and business operations;
- Handling operational issues such as cash flow management, risk management and tax matters, and producing statutory accounts/reports;
- Perform quarterly GST reporting and statistical reporting
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards,group financial and treasury policies;
- Up keeping of good internal control system and corporate governance; and continuously seeking process improvements to achieve cost savings;
- Liaising with external auditors and tax agents;
- Assist in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation;
Lead finance team in system implementation;Other ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or other professional accounting qualifications.
- Chartered Accountant/ CPA will be an advantage.
- At least 6 - 8 years (with at least 5 years in managerial capacity) of Financial Accounting experience
- Experience with ERP systems, especially Oracle NetSuite and their implementation will be an advantage
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and relevant statutory requirements.
