Description:

The Regional HR Business Partner for Journey plays a crucial role in aligning human resources strategies with the operational needs of our healthcare facilities.
Key responsibilities and skills typically associated with this role:

SKILLS/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Travel: Role requires travel in multi-state region. Travel approx. 70 percent.
  • Healthcare Knowledge: Understanding of long-term care regulations, compliance issues, and industry best practices, preferred, but not required.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and conflict resolution skills to build relationships across various levels of the organization.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data to inform decisions related to staffing, turnover, and employee engagement.
  • Strategic Thinking: Capability to develop HR strategies that align with the overall goals of the organization.
  • Problem-Solving: Proficiency in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Bachelor’s Degree: A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Certifications/HR Certifications: Professional certifications such as PHR (Professional in Human Resources), SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources), or SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management - Certified Professional) preferred, but not required.
  • Experience: 3-4 years of HR experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in long-term care settings, is required. This often includes progressive roles in HR management or operations.
