Description:
JOB SUMMARY
Accountable for maintaining and growing a client’s 340B program. Drives incremental sales by collaborating with field operations and internal stakeholders. Acts as the 340B expert in the field and is the go-to person for internal Walgreens team members. Cultivates relationships between client and local market leaders to promote the Walgreens brand. Responsible for overall client satisfaction, retention, and program growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Develops and manages client relationships across multiple levels, client C-suite, Director of Pharmacy, 340B Program Coordinator, etc. Identify specialty clients and local specialty sites for network optimization and maximizing program growth. Collaborates with Walgreens specialty team to promote services and programs offered thru the local specialty pharmacies.
- Responsible for 340B training to local internal leaders, client providers and administrators, and other key stakeholders.
- Responsible for understanding the impacts of local, state, and rules/regulations impacting a client’s 340B program. Maintains awareness of updates to the 340B program and shares with team members and clients, where appropriate.
- Partners with Walgreens pharmacy leaders to market services and programs and implement strategies to improve prescription pull through.
- Responsible for a portfolio of 200+ clients and for meeting 80% of comp clients at least once annually.
- Responsible for providing a collaborative customer facing and problem-solving environment for internal and external partners such as 340B teams, sales, marketing, and community leaders. Maybe required to act as a liaison between community leaders, specialty sales, and the client.
- Manages travel and expense accounts. Follows company guidelines on travel.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in client management roles in the healthcare or B2B industry OR a high school diploma/GED and at least 5 years of experience in client management roles in the healthcare or B2B service industry.
- Experience articulating and communicating information and ideas to varying audiences (clients, vendors, pharmacies, corporate management) and in multiple written styles (persuasive, informative, and narrative) in order to negotiate/gain access to information and records.
- Experience presenting to and coordinating senior level meetings including preparation of agendas, documenting meeting minutes, and sending out documents to attendees.
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and customer satisfaction.
- Experience negotiating and influencing others.
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example; inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers, and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
- At least 1 year of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership.
- Willing to travel up to 80% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in 340B or other Government funded programs and healthcare industry including pharmacy, hospitals, or clinics.
