Description:
Bethanie is a leading not for profit aged care provider based in Western Australia. For nearly 70 years, we have been empowering ageing Australians to lead their most meaningful lives by recognising ‘old age’ as a positive force in society and giving a voice to those who have seen it all and live to tell the tale.
We’re on a mission to create a better world not just for ageing Australians, but their communities as well, and we believe that to make this difference, you need the right people by your side. We believe that’s what makes us truly different!
We are currently seeking applicants for the newly created position of Regional Manager for the South West region. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role provides leadership and strategic support while overseeing the operations of our three aged care facilities in Bunbury, Eaton and Dalyellup.
Working closely with our Facility Managers, this role acts as a liaison between individual facilities and Bethanie Shared Services, communicating key initiatives and performance expectations. As such, it’s important to note that regular travel between sites in the South West and Perth will be required.
This role is offered on a permanent full time basis with flexible / hybrid working arrangements supported, including working from home.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic management and leadership overseeing multiple aged care facilities, with a focus on aligning goals and priorities with organisational objectives, goals and initiatives
- Ensure compliance and regulatory management, quality improvement and risk management
- Maintain relationships and lines of communication with a variety of stakeholders, from residents and families to government and industry contacts
- Provide operational oversight across areas such as resident care, staffing levels, regulatory compliance, financial management and quality outcomes
- Foster a positive organisational culture by providing effective leadership and support
