Chris Woollard, our Regional Director, North, is now recruiting a Regional Manager to help shape the future of our business. The successful candidate would be responsible for all branches upwards of Leeds.
As a Regional Manager, you will lead the strategy and operations for a network of c.10 branches and 160 colleagues, developing our trading proposition and fostering a high-performance culture. Working closely with Branch Managers, you’ll focus on building great teams, delivering operational excellence, and driving growth through our local customer strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Health & Safety Culture: Support and coach Branch Managers to continuously improve safety standards, manage incidents effectively, and ensure best practices are shared across the region
  • Develop and Coach Branch Managers: Inspire your team to grow their skills and business-building capabilities, ensuring they are equipped for sustainable growth.
  • Drive Profit and Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with Branch Managers to balance sales growth and operational efficiencies, and partner with the Regional Sales Director to maximise sales profitability
  • Maximise Commercial Opportunities: Ensure we have the right products in the right places by connecting customer needs with supplier offerings, improving our responsiveness and service
  • Foster a High-Performance Sales Culture: Implement customer growth plans and build long-term relationships to consistently meet customer needs and exceed expectations
  • Set Operational Standards: Define and enforce standards for transport compliance, distribution, and branch efficiency, while using KPIs to measure and manage performance
  • Build a Strong Talent Pipeline: Create a flexible workforce by multi-skilling colleagues, aligning work patterns, and developing leadership sucession talent for critical roles
