Responsibilities:

Based in the UAE the role will be further leading the growth of Distran in the Middle East region.

In this role you will:

  • Develop and grow the business in the Middle East with channel partners and through direct sales
  • Develop a structured approach, including operational plans, to address the market in line with the company`s strategy
  • Manage/support the business development manager for Middle East (located in Bahrain) responsible for KSA, Kuwait and Bahrain
  • Manage proactively the business development in UAE, Turkey, Qatar, Egypt, Oman (other countries might be assigned)
  • Open, develop and retain relationships with key accounts in the target industries, in particular oil and gas, chemistry and power generation
  • Active sales acquisition with focus on opening, retaining and developing Key Accounts (e.g. ADNOC)
  • Engage in prospecting, perform in-person presentations and on-site demos, help facilitate RFPs, close orders and ensure general sales administration
  • Overseeing all aspects of business operations, incl. maintaining budget, sales goals and general targets
  • Generate regular progress reports including relevant KPIs for upper management
  • Select, organize and attend conferences and exhibitions in the sales area
  • Plan, organize and implement marketing actions together with Head office: white papers, journal publication, talks
  • Preparation of offers and general sales administration
  • Create and maintain customer information in CRM tools (Pipedrive), track and ensure sales process according defined sale pipelines
  • Keep up to date with competition in the sales area and prepare market analysis
