WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Are you ready to lead a dynamic team and make a significant impact in the world of motor assessing? As the Regional Manager Motor Assessing at Tower, you’ll play a crucial role in driving our success by leading our Motor Assessors and ensuring top-notch motor assessing services. Your efforts will help control claims expenses and elevate customer satisfaction to new heights.

DIVE INTO THE HEART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee large loss and complex claims, ensuring accurate motor damage assessments and accurate internal motor assessments.
  • Manage customer escalations for externally assessed claims and escalations related to the external delivery of other motor services.
  • Ensure timely customer contact and quality assessment reports; you will be confident to handle customer escalations for externally assessed claims and services and resolve any complaints effectively and professionally,
  • Lead and mentor a team of Motor Assessors, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Motor Assessing team, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and knowledge management.
  • Integrate Motor Assessing into the overall claims process.
  • Support Claims division initiatives to achieve strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with Debt Recovery, Fraud and Claims Leakage Team to assist in controlling Tower’s Motor loss ratio.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships, in collaboration with the Partner Performance Managers, with external suppliers of motor assessing and motor services.
  • Manage relationships with external Motor assessing and services suppliers.

To be successful in this role, you will also demonstrate the following:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading a Motor Assessing team.
  • Hands on experience of Motor repair procedures and standards, including all associated legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in administration, cost control, and the preparation of assessing reports.
  • Relevant industry certifications are a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge and application of relevant legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Understanding of motor and other supplier contracts.
  • Strong negotiation skills
