Description:
Rentokil Initial has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Technical Manager to join our Technical team based in Auckland. We are looking for an experienced individual with outstanding communication skills, persistence, resilience and an extreme level of drive and motivation.
The purpose of this role is to meet our service excellence promise through improving our customer retention rates by identifying, creating, developing and maintaining world class integrated pest management program solutions.
These solutions will utilise your technical skills, knowledge, and experience of the pest management industry to focus on standards, compliance, training and innovation to achieve effective, efficient and unrivalled service delivery to our customers.
This role is responsible for the implementation, support and delivery of the quality assurance and technical development programmes within the assigned region. You will be involved in the development, monitoring and review of standards with a focus on continuous improvement.
This position requires in-depth operational and technical knowledge and experience within our commercial pest control businesses, coupled with ability to effectively manage change, communicate with our customers or auditors and positively influence our cultural change journey to improve performance.
FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
- New Zealand Certificate in Urban Pest Management
- Full Drivers Licence

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- 5 + years Technical and practical experience within the pest control industry
- 5 + years High dependency servicing standards knowledge
- A results-focused attitude, with demonstrated success in achieving service excellence
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Good time management skills with the proven ability to work autonomously
- Strong business acumen, influencing and relationship-building skills
- Intermediate computer skills and ability to learn new systems
