JOB SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Regional Manager to oversee our residential care & support programs across Southwest Brisbane and Moreton Bay. The Regional Manager is responsible for leading a team committed to enriching the lives of young people through engaging and impactful programs. The role will involve program development, team management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet the diverse needs of youth in the region.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Certificate IV, Diploma or Bachelor in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or in a related field such as Social Work, Psychology, Education etc.
  • Proven experience in youth services management, including program development and staff supervision.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team along with manage conflicts and complaints.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge surrounding the impact of trauma on young people, social issues affecting young people, and best practices in youth services.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the region including service delivery, financial management & proactive human resource management.
  • Enhance the operational needs of existing programs and manage the ongoing development of new programs and services within the region.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and support a team of Case Managers, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and outcomes, implementing continuous improvement strategies to enhance service delivery and impact.
  • Manage risk associated with delivery of services within the region and ensure risk management processes are implemented.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and department agencies to support program sustainability and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational policies and prepare regular reports and updates for senior management and stakeholders.
