EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 3 years’ experience is required. Proven experience in regional portfolio marketing management, preferably within the Retail or Property sectors.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

Responsibilities:

B. JOB PURPOSE

The Regional Marketing Coordinator will support the Retail Brand Manager and marketing teams in executing marketing strategies to drive sales and enhance brand presence within the retail sector. This role requires a proactive and organised individual who can manage multiple projects, coordinate regional marketing campaigns, and collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

F. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Regional Campaign Coordination
  • Assist in the planning, development, and execution of regional marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate major promotions and marketing events at each retail shopping centre.
  • Evaluate campaign cost proposals and report findings to the Retail Brand Manager.
  • Participate in planning and proposals for festive decorations.
  • Supervise and support marketing agencies and on-site marketing teams with day-to-day marketing operations aligned to Group Marketing goals.
  • Ensure retail centre brands are advertised in line with strategic positioning.
  • Monitor campaign performance and report on key metrics specific to the shopping centre.
  • Ensure budget compliance and reconciliation with on-site teams.
  • Resolve operational issues and manage campaign strategies with the Brand Manager.
  1. Market Research
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on research findings to inform Group marketing strategies
  • Develop ad hoc campaigns to address emergent needs.
  • Review and vet centre information for publication and corporate communications.
  1. Monitoring and Reporting
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, corporate identity and marketing objectives.
  • Coordinate retail centre information for digital platforms and retail documents.
  • Consolidate quarterly CSR reports from the Retail centres.
  • Conduct quarterly review meetings with Centre Managers, Marketing teams, and Senior Management
  • Monitor and report on social media user behaviors with the mall brand.
  • Compile relevant reports assessing ROI and campaign success.
  1. Relationship Management
  • Facilitate quarterly agency meetings to review KPIs and performance.
  • Guide the strategy and annual marketing plans in collaboration with Group Marketing.
  • Identify new brand opportunities, collaborations, and partnerships.
  • Support the training and development of the internal marketing team.

ROLE LOCATION

Growthpoint Head Office in Sandton, Johannesburg and rotational days at the respective retail sites.
