Description:

Position Summary

  • This role sits in the Digital Marketing team and would be reporting to the Data Lead of SEAO region
  • The job scope includes maintaining 8 markets’ 1st party consumer data pipeline, BI solutions and Data Science models, in order to drive continuous improvement in business KPIs for Samsung smartphone and consumer electronics categories.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Customer Data Management
  • Working with Martech team to build automated data pipeline to ingest data from Samsung data warehouse to SEAO’s own cloud.
  • Maintain SEAO’s own marketing data mart in the cloud.
  • Managing first party customer data from multiple internal and external data sources, which include data cleaning, database management and data security management
  • Business Insights & Reporting
  • Build dashboards and insight report on Samsung’s Big Data Platform
  • Connect different data sources to generate actional business insights for the marketing team
  • Collaborate closely with subsidiary marketing managers and product team to support data analysis needs and proactively provide optimization suggestions
  • Data Science Models
  • Build and improve machine learning models in the filed of digital marketing, such as customer purchase propensity, customer retention & loyalty
  • Maintain end-to-end machine learning pipeline to deployment data science model in the cloud environment
  • Fast prototype of new data science projects using latest AI technologies

Skills and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 2 years of working experience in data analytics or data science, preferably in a consumer facing companies.
  • Strong mathematical acumen, heightened data sensitivity, and the capacity to independently analyse and solve problems.
  • Good logical thinking and teamwork spirit, strong willingness to learn
  • Experience in Marketing, CRM, Consumer products is a plus
