Description:

ERM is seeking a Marketing Manager to be part of the North American marketing team. Reporting to the Regional Director of Marketing in North America, this role supports the delivery of ERM’s commercial growth agenda. This role will involve managing and leading select North American conferences, webinars, and proprietary events and supporting the business in developing value propositions through marketing collateral development. The marketing manager will support various initiatives, go-to-market campaigns, and collaborate on projects with other members of the marketing team and internal groups. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the commercial team, be confident, service-oriented, have the ability to take the lead on activities/initiatives, drive progress, and be able to relate well with diverse groups of senior partners and technical professionals.

Professional Experience & Qualifications

  • At least 5-7 years relevant marketing experience, preferably within a professional services environment
  • Experience and comfort working in an office environment with local colleagues as well as with remote teams. Regular in-office presence expected: The candidate should be available to work from the local office a minimum 3 days per week.
  • First-rate skills and experience in content development
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills and significant experience in working with senior leadership teams and other key stakeholders
  • Expert verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge and ability to use multiple platforms and channels (including digital) for a range of audiences
  • Strong knowledge of marketing and communication technologies and tools
  • Excellent project management skills, analytical and business acumen
  • Strong people management skills
  • Curiosity & interest in commercial aspects of the business, such as sustainability, climate change, low carbon etc

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate a variety of marketing initiatives, from proprietary events (both virtual and in-person) and conferences to industry association memberships, as well as sales enablement materials and value proposition development. Develop strategies for new events, implement best practices, and oversee the planning process from start to finish.
  • Support the maximization of ROI for regional events by adhering to NA marketing processes and approaches to capture leads and track/progress opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, commercial leaders, and Partners to create quality marketing materials, strategies, messaging, and event management aimed at increasing client engagement, driving sales, and enhancing brand recognition.
  • Direct and oversee all aspects of marketing, including planning, research, and execution of tasks to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Influence Partners and Sellers on which marketing activities to pursue through strategic and commercial alignment discussions.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of the company’s professional image in all client communications, events, pursuits, and regional collateral material.
  • Provide input and ideas for process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the marketing function across North America, including contributing to and managing SharePoint materials and management of salesforce campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with company image, brand standards, approval levels, and guidelines.
