The Role & What You Will Be Doing
This is a key role in the Order to Cash cycle, suitable candidates will ensure demand is accurately reflected and transacted on the ERP system (SAP): while striving to minimize disruptions to the supply chain and meet or exceed customer expectations.
Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Regional Operations Specialist role will make an impact:
- Processing Demand Signals from Affiliates or hubs reflecting demand on ERP system (SAP)
- Maintenance and execution of Customer demand in SAP for Sales Order entry, Transactional history, Inventory availability, Order scheduling, creation of Outbound delivery, transport orders, invoicing and returns
- Report and monitor all orders to ensure timely approval, pick / pack and dispatch process, in line with customer expectations and KPI’s
- Arranging international freight using multiple shipping methods as well as associated documentation from origin to destination with warehouses, carriers, and all relevant stakeholders (Internal & External)
- Quality check all documentation which is issued (Invoice, OBD, AWB, COO, etc.)– ensure that the information is accurate and provided to the relevant stakeholders within a timely manner.
- Support the development and design of reporting outputs for the Supply Chain Operations Function (Open Order reports, allocations, packing and delivery confirmations) and utilize them to effectively carry out your role
- Develop an understanding of product flows; with an ability to understand and interpret the financial, physical and transactional flow of material through the Viatris network
- Work cross functionally to resolve any issues such as data inaccuracies, changing requirements (Master data, pricing, customer, or regulatory changes) and collaborate with other functions to proactively eliminate blocks with the Supply Chain
- Design, improve and maintain systems, processes and documentation.
- Effective communication and excellent customer service skills to successfully work within a multifunctional environment
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
- 2-3 years relevant supply chain / logistics experience
- Solid general management, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to recommend practical ways using innovation, good judgment, creativity, and strategic thinking.
- Qualification in a Project Management or Supply Chain discipline would be a distinct advantage.
- Experience of freight documentation i.e., CMRs, AWB
- SAP or similar ERP system experience required.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities
- Microsoft Excel competency is essential
- Analytical skills are an asset
- Ability to recommend practical ways using innovation, creativity, and strategic thinking
- Attention to detail essential
- Written and verbal English skills
