We are looking for a People & Culture Business Partner to join our team.
Partnering with our Western Region (Alberta / BC), you will lead and drive internal development, succession planning, training and organisation change to ensure talented and engaged teams, thriving with potential. You will lead and implement our people initiatives through effective coaching and role modelling our people first culture.
Your role would focus on supporting:
- Developing top talent
- People planning
- Wellbeing
- Centre recruitment
- Supporting inductions
- Engagement
- Brand standards
- ER cases
- Support visits
To be successful you’ll have:
- Post secondary degree/diploma in Human Resources
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role, with a focus on culture development, organizational development and/or HRBP role within the hospitality or retail sector
- CPHR designation an asset
- Excellent influencing skills and ability to demonstrate sound judgement
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners while building strong relationships across different organizational levels
- Highly developed analytical, problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced work environment while managing competing priorities for a variety of stakeholders
- Strong organization, prioritization and time management skills
- Highly detail oriented, able to handle multiple projects and delivery deadlines
- Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex situations while maintaining a commitment to handling confidential information with discretion and sensitivity
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Travel Requirements:
- Field role – regular travel required to Splitsville Centres in Calgary, Alberta, Richmond, BC and Nanaimo, with more centres being added in the region.
