REQUIREMENTS

  • Educated to B.A. / B.S. or Master Degree, or equivalent in logistics, pharmacy, or other health-related discipline, international trade, business administration or IT
  • Alternatively, a high level of experience and knowledge in the Specialty Logistics and/or Commercial Drug Logistics and/or Clinical Logistics industry
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Fluent in English
  • Flexibility in working hours
  • Dotted-line management experience
  • Good Written and verbal communication skills
  • Respectful of different cultures and norms
  • Must be willing and able to travel regionally and internationally
  • Team development - Ability to support activities of others, including coaching, training, guiding
  • Ability to interpret industry trends and competitive information.
  • Excellent presentation skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective personal stature and presence, self-assured and relaxed, articulate and capable of communicating formally and informally at all levels of the corporation/company
  • Strong data acumen with the ability to interpret and direct analysis on broad internal and external commercial data identified trends and performance indicator tracking

Responsibilities:

  • Support the regional offices in the development and winning of new CSC opportunities and maintain existing business
  • Partner with the sales team to shape World Courier’s response to Commercial Supply Chain bids, in coordination with the Sales Tools and Enablement team when appropriate
  • Manage the pipeline of Commercial Supply Chain opportunities, and work with local and global sales teams to ensure that client interactions convey World Courier’s capabilities and commitment,
  • Ensure know-how transfer and appropriate training within the region
  • Must be willing to travel to events e.g., customer appointments, seminars, exhibitions etc.
  • Must be willing to build up and maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, seminars and exhibitions; reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Build productive business relationships with key opinion leaders and influential customers across Europe
  • Participate in personal development and training sessions
  • Maintain a network of Commercial Supply Chain decision makers and represent World Courier to clients and prospects.
  • Represent World Courier at commercial logistics conferences and in the industry media.
  • Be aware of competitive offerings and regularly refresh a perspective of World Courier’s differentiators in the market.
  • Maintain regular reporting on service KPIs, including commercial, financial and operational performance.
  • Promote the Commercial Supply Chain service – and its operational requirements – within World Courier.
  • Work with operations and customer service to drive adherences to these processes across the business.
  • Work with Quality Assurance to understand the cause of service deviations and maintain processes and work instructions to incorporate lessons learnt.
  • Act as a regional point of contact for Commercial Supply Chain suppliers and partners; maintain good relationships with these external parties to drive value from the interactions for World Courier and our clients.
