REGIONAL RETAIL MANAGER - NISA
Circa £70,000 salary plus benefits, including company car (Work Level 5)
Field based role across England, Wales, and Scotland, with regular visits to our office in Scunthorpe (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).
We’re looking for a Regional Retail Manager to join us to lead and develop our ambitious retail strategy across England. You’ll help us to drive sales growth through growing and managing key relationships with our independent retail partners. In this role you’ll have the opportunity to lead a small team and support our growing retail customer base, giving you the chance to define your profile and make a tangible impact on the growth of the business.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Regularly travel to applicable sites across country to meet customers, support team and attend business meetings
- Lead, mentor, and support the development of a team of Retail Development Managers to deliver against the sales budget
- Build and develop meaningful relationships with new and existing retail partners to deliver our retail strategy and minimise partner exits
- Provide meaningful insight into partner performance, driving activity and actions to make improvements
- Plan and prioritise retailer partner account management activity in line with our business strategy
- Implement Nisa’s sales / trading plan to drive partner growth and loyalty
- Manage any partner issues or complaints through to resolution
- Manage contractual relationships effectively to drive positive value
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO HAVE
- Strong knowledge of the wholesale and retail sector with a good understanding of the challenges and opportunities the retail and the wholesale landscape face
- A background in sales and direct retailer management with sales negotiation skills
- Brilliant communication skills, with the ability to challenge and influence to get the right results whilst remaining customer focussed
- Excellent leadership skills, with experience of mentoring and developing a team
- A talent for building meaningful relationships with colleagues and partners at all levels
- An inventive approach to problem solving, with great decision making skills
