Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
As the Regional Sales Director based in the St Louis area, you will operate in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment. You’ll be part of a dynamic sales team that thrives on collaboration and innovation, contributing significantly to Gigamon’s strategic growth. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will function as an individual contributor while working closely with cross-functional partners, including Product Managers and Regional Business Managers.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Identify and capture sales opportunities
- Manage the full sales cycle
- Develop business strategies for complex customer needs
- Maintain customer databases and conduct effective sales calls
- Provide market insights and competitive information
- Drive sales growth and develop new accounts
- Daily activities include customer meetings, strategy sessions, and collaboration with product teams
- Occasional travel for client meetings and trade shows
WHAT YOU’VE DONE:
- 5-8 years in sales, preferably in a tech-related field
- BA/BS in Business, CIS, or related discipline preferred
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, quoting software, and SQL
