Responsibilities:

As a Regional Sales Manager at D-Wave, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and broadening our commercialization in your local region. You will be responsible for leveraging the resources of the wider D-Wave team available to support you in Marketing, Pre-Sales, Professional Services, etc., cultivating strategic business relationships, and identifying opportunities to position quantum-powered computing solutions as integral components for solving complex and valuable business optimization challenges.

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute D-Wave’s sales strategy to drive new business, focusing on selling Quantum Cloud products and services. Identify and recommend new customer projects utilizing D-Wave solutions in geographic regions. Effectively communicate D-Wave’s vision, strategy, and product roadmaps to executive and technical customers, demonstrating the value of our solutions.
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Conduct prospecting activities, qualify leads, deliver product presentations, and implement local sales campaigns to generate new opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement: Sell and position D-Wave products and services to individual customer prospects, understanding their business challenges and creating value propositions tailored to their needs.
  • New Customer Projects: Identify and recommend new customer projects that can leverage D-Wave solutions to solve complex Business problems.
  • RFI/RFP Response: Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs in collaboration with technical sales advisors, conveying customer requirements and feedback to internal teams.
  • Representation: Represent D-Wave at conferences, seminars, and other events to promote our products and engage with existing and potential customers.
