About the job
As an integral member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in growing profitable sales for our separation product range in the Midwest. You will focus on the Agi markets (Ethanol, Starch, Veg Oil), contributing to the overall success and growth of our organization. Currently, this is a home-office based position in territory.

As a part of the team, you will:

  • Develop a sales plan for territory
  • Grow sales via prospecting and qualifying customers
  • Clarify and evaluate customer needs
  • Develop quotes reflecting sustainable solutions for customer objectives
  • Follow up on quotes
  • Actively develop product and market knowledge anticipating market and competitor developments

What you know:

You have an Bachelors degree in mechanical or chemical engineering or equivalent industry experience, and:

  • Proven sales experience selling engineered products/solutions to end users in a business to business environment
  • Strong commercial orientation
  • Ability to synthesize technical information from multiple sources
  • Experience with technical problem solving and troubleshooting
  • Must have a positive customer-focused approach
  • Strong PC skills including, Excel and CRM software
  • Experience with the practical application of separation technologies– high speed separators, decanters, membrane and evaporation technology, helpful
  • Experience with ethanol, vegetable oil and starch markets, helpful
  • Travel estimate 50%
