Is this the role for you?
As the Regional Sales Manager – Digital Workplace, you will provide guidance, coaching, and sales support to your sales team to achieve the sales and growth targets within their portfolios. This is a senior role for a professional individual who seeks to consolidate their career. As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for achieving, managing and coordinating all activities by maximising sales, achieving sales targets and improving market share through the successful direction of the overall sales team. You will be an advocate for Ricoh and our customers (existing and new), ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction is developed and maintained.
The primary objective of this position will be to drive the sales growth of the business directly, via your sales team and in collaboration with various Ricoh sales teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with senior management to define the regional strategy and sales initiatives aligned with the organisation’s overall goals.
  • Identify opportunities for improved customer engagement through the adoption of digital technologies and sales techniques.
  • Develop and implement an ongoing strategic regional business plan that supports the retention and expansion of the company’s customer base, ensuring our strong market presence.
  • Lead and manage a diverse team of Sales professionals, focussing the team on customer outcomes, sales activities and knowledge growth.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, empowering team members to contribute their expertise and insights.
  • Develop and maintain a strong team sales pipeline, by fostering a culture of prospecting potential new customers, maximising opportunities with existing active Ricoh customers and Ricoh Partners and Vendors, to cultivate new business opportunities and new business wins.
  • Lead the way in the identification and understanding of customer business issues (utilising Ricoh RISE)
  • Manage and support your team to grow sales across all Ricoh’s portfolios by, delivering transformational outcomes and experiences for new and existing customers.
  • Achieve sales revenue and margin targets by successfully managing the sales team.

To be successful in this role:

The suitable candidate will possess the following:

  • 5+ Years sales leadership experience and / or quota carrying sales, account relationship management and business development experience.
  • Successful achievement of sales targets and strong desire to over-achieve.
  • Track record of business/account plan development and execution.
  • Experience in handling both business and technical decision makers in customer organisations.
  • Ability to lead and support both hunting and farming models.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor sales teams

The ideal candidate will also bring:

  • Certifications and/or Knowledge in various IT technologies, process automation and systems.
  • An understanding of ITIL and industry-based IT service concepts and commercial constructs, Opex, Capex and financed delivery models.
  • In depth knowledge of one of more vendor value propositions, or one or more specific industry domains.
  • An evidenced desire to continuously extend personal and professional knowledge.
