OVERVIEW:

We are a market leading provider of transport refrigeration solutions, committed to delivering high quality products and exceptional service to our customer base. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic sales professional to play a key role in driving business growth and build strong customer relationships, without direct line management responsibilities, within our Southern region.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Have a strategic mindset and proven experience in a sales or business development role, ideally within the refrigeration, automotive or transport industry.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills are crucial to the role.
  • Ability to work independently as an individual contributor and manage a regional sales territory.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
  • This role offers remote working from home, while attending customer meetings and visits to our head office near Woodbridge in Suffolk, as required. National and international travel will be required to suit the needs of the business.
  • Must be highly computer literate with strong organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail as well as having the ability to use CRM software.

Responsibilities:

As Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and managing sales strategies, identifying market opportunities and initiatives to support our strategic growth plans, and to meet and exceed sales targets within our southern region.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers by effectively managing customer accounts. You will be skilled at identifying business opportunities and addressing client needs with tailored solutions, to ensure retention and repeat business by providing an exceptional service.
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external teams to ensure customer satisfaction and sales success and contribute positively to the team by supporting business goals.
  • Providing and presenting regular sales reports and market analysis to senior management and various audiences and business situations.
  • Analysing market trends, product advancements and competitor activities, to capitalise on new business opportunities.
  • Adapting and staying up to date with evolving industry changes and regulations. You will need to have a thorough understanding of product offerings and be able to effectively communicate their value to customers by explaining features, benefits and applications.
  • Utilizing CRM tools to track and analyse customer interactions to be able to make data-driven decisions to optimise sales performance, overcome sales challenges and align activities with the company’s long-term sales strategy and business objectives.
