INTRODUCTION AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Atlas Copco Services Middle East is seeking an experienced salesperson to take the lead in developing Low pressure compressed Air solutions .
The successful candidate has the right entrepreneurial spirit and perseverance to develop and shall contribute to the profitable compressor technique growth strategy.
The mission is regional and will primarily focus on developing new customers while reinforcing existing customers with the mission to increase Compressor Techniques market share & customer share covered by ACSME both direct and indirect channels through distributors.
The selected candidate will report to the Regional Business Line Manager –Oil-free Air, Atlas Copco Services Middle East located in Dubai, UAE.

The Mission of the successful candidate will be to:

  • Further Developing low pressure business business of air blowers and low-pressure compressors across the region mainly in the water, wastewater & desalination segments.
  • Focus in developing industrial low pressure solutions for pneumatic conveying, fluidization ,food beverages & fish farming.
  • Manage registration of Atlas Copco products in all regional waste water authorities ,EPC’s, O&M Companies and engineering houses .
  • Develop Business Development plans for Low pressure business in the gulf region ( UAE, Qatar, Bahrain , Oman , Iraq, Yemen ) .
  • Develop and manager indirect sales channels to grow low pressure business across gulf region in both municipal and industrial low pressure business .
  • Develop and Grow OEM business for low pressure solutions across the region .
  • Coordinate with colleagues from within the direct organization; product companies and the distributor organization to train and improve the market reach and obtain leads.
  • Develop and maintain a close relationship with service department, distributors, end users and contractors with an aim to bringing rapid growth to both high pressure and cooling businesses.
  • Organize events with the customers to ensure Atlas Copco remains First in mind, first in choice for low pressure business .
  • Conduct local training events for all direct and indirect sales channels .
  • Coordinate with the management both local and divisional and bring feedback from the market on both opportunities and threats with regards to municipal &industrial and OEM low pressure business .
  • Consistent use of CRM implementation (C4C) of all sales and marketing activities to ensure accurate market information and customer database.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in sales of compressed air preferably low pressure business in terms of blowers and low pressure compressors.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are a must.
  • Distributor & indirect business management experience is preferred.
  • Multi-cultural exposure in global business-related projects is a strong plus.

KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCES

  • Good command (verbal and written) of English.
  • Working knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity and experience to deal and negotiate contracts with high value orders.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

University Degree in Engineering
