We currently have a vacancy for a Regional Sector Renewables (South East Asia and Oceania) in our Industrial Projects team based in our Melbourne Airport, (Victoria) Office.

Overall Role Purpose:
Grow and maintain IP business in the Renewables sector.

KEY CAPABILITIES / SKILLS

  • Knowledge of regional Renewables infrastructure and operating companies
  • Proven successful sales/business development with Renewables OEM’s and Developers particularly EPC’s in the emerging off-shore market
  • Knowledge of the Solar (CAPEX) and BESS markets from a logistics perspective.
  • Understanding of the sector constraints
  • Freight forwarding knowledge / experience, project cargo experience an advantage
  • Ability to operate in a matrix organization
  • Knowledge of regional logistics infrastructure and service providers

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree or Diploma
    Expected Experience
    10 years + in logistics with recent renewable energy covering at least two of the subsectors

Responsibilities:

  • Manages and drives performance of IP Renewables (and Renewables OEM) Regional sales of projects logistics services.
  • Renewables being defined as onshore & offshore wind and solar projects as well as BESS and Hydrogen
  • Assist with Renewables and OEM business development in particular focus on development of off-shore wind with coordination with other regions.
  • Develops plans based on country targets
  • Develops plans based on announced projects to the market, with deep understanding of developing solutions for upcoming announced projects
  • Steers and improves Sales performance through effective processes and performance measurement.
  • Plans and manages the customer portfolio of Renewables and OEM sector for IP business.
  • Executes sales plan.
  • Wins, retains and develops Renewables and OEM customers.
  • Responsible for RFI/RFQ/tender submission and pricing strategies.
  • Close collaboration with technical Engineering, Chartering and HSE team to provided end to end solution
  • Ensure effective implementation handover to Operations.
  • Maintains network within DHL across other IP locations working in the Renewables sector
