Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership in the Safety Goals and procedures throughout our organization.
- Lead Technical Operations within the Surrey and Winnipeg facilities, including head and equipment repair operations.
- Lead Western Field Service team, providing scheduling and coordination support.
- Manage Service training efforts for North American Service teams.
- Develop procedures for securing customer feedback (VOC) for Field Service, Tool, and Head repair operations, reporting monthly feedback to management.
- Facilitate internal and external testing projects associated with tools and equipment, including working directly with Sales, Marketing, and the customers.
- Provide leadership in Continuous Improvement goals including Lean initiatives, Six Sigma, and Best Practices projects.
- Support Surrey and Winnipeg Service team staffing, providing developmental feedback to help them grow, communicate these opportunities with Management.
- Apply sound decision-making skills and find solutions for practical day to day problems.
- Work with NA Service Manger to resolve any personnel issues.
- Work with NA Service Manger to resolve any internal or external customer complaints.
- Communicate business activities through our organization in written and verbal form.
- Provide Business knowledge and expertise to existing and prospective customers and our organization as needed.
- Other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- A bachelor’s degree in operations management or 5 years related experience in a technical role, prior leadership experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of the packaging business and/or Service business is preferred.
- 2+ Years’ experience and/or certification in Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing.
- 2+ Years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to operate standard shop and warehouse equipment and to assist others in the training to do so.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
