Responsibilities:
Are you a compassionate and skilled Social Worker looking to make a real impact in the community? We are seeking an enthusiastic Regional Social Worker to join our dedicated multi-disciplinary team, where your expertise will help deliver comprehensive, person-centred health services to those who need it most.
As a Social Worker at either AHP1 or AHP2 classification, you will play a crucial role in the provision of a broad range of services tailored to the unique needs of our local community. Under the guidance of the Regional Clinical Senior Social Worker, you’ll collaborate with health professionals and service providers from other sectors to ensure that patients receive the best possible care through a combination of preventative, early intervention, and therapeutic approaches.
In the AHP2 role, you will have increased clinical independence, applying your growing expertise to plan, implement, and evaluate services while supporting less experienced team members and contributing to the development of future professionals.
Key responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with a diverse multi-professional team to meet the needs of the local community.
- Utilise a range of social work techniques including assessment, intervention, and therapy to deliver high-quality care.
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior staff and students (AHP2 classification).
- Contribute to the evaluation and ongoing development of services and programs.
- Ensure the delivery of integrated health services with a focus on early intervention and long-term outcomes.
