Description:

We’re looking for motivated and detail-oriented administrative professionals to join us at PAX - Program of Academic Exchange! As a member of the Regional Support Specialists (RSS) team, you will provide integral behind-the-scenes administrative support for the PAX field. Each member of the RSS team collaborates with other departments on overarching PAX goals and development, provides light technical and customer service-style support, and generally keeps things running smoothly for our programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree required. Preference given to majors in education, public administration, international studies, and other related social sciences.
  • Excellent interpersonal, research, writing, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work productively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in use of Microsoft Office applications; experience using customer, member, or other database systems preferred.

Responsibilities:

The RSS team works closely with Regional Directors to meet regional placement goals, maintain compliant paperwork, and support placements throughout the program year. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Provide general administrative support for assigned regional directors.
  • Assist in reviewing placement paperwork and ensure placements meet compliance standards.
  • Track placements, changes, and payments in Excel.
  • Follow up with local coordinators and field staff to obtain compliant paperwork.
  • Assist in review and tracking of monthly contact reports.
  • Work with assigned Regional Directors to help organize caseloads.
  • Assist local coordinators and host families with the PAX Hub system.
  • Keep the PAX Hub and external databases up to date with current placement information.
  • Conduct outreach to prospective host families, schools, and local coordinators as needed.
