JOB DESCRIPTION

As our Regional Vice President, you will manage a team of Account Executives selling Canada’s core Sage Intacct accounting platform. We seek a proven sales leader with great energy, leadership, and initiative to drive team performance and sales. Every day, you will formulate and implement a strategy to increase business growth and acquire net new customers. To thrive, you must be a high-impact individual capable of driving outstanding business results and first-class employee development. The Regional Vice President is responsible for developing and managing the team to generate revenue and achieve individual team and organizational quotas.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in SaaS sales management (people manager), preferably in enterprise applications/ERP to the finance office.
  • Demonstrated track record of job stability and consistent sales over-achievement.
  • Ability to effectively hire and train new Account Executives.
  • Ability to speak about basic finance and accounting concepts and processes; experience and success selling to finance and the CFO.
  • This is a hybrid role (three days in our Toronto office).
  • 25% - 50% travel

Responsibilities:

  • This important role is leading Sage Intacct’s new customer acquisition direct sales team.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively present and sell Sage Intacct solutions.
  • Provide support and mentorship to direct reports by participating and leading in client and prospect

meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required.

  • Development of a winning team, including recruiting, hiring and training. Coach direct reports to drive deal closure and generate pipeline (3x).
  • Accurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting to senior sales management.
  • Engaging at C-level in enterprise customer organizations.
  • A sense of urgency, GRIT, a strong drive for results, and doing what’s right for the customer.
