EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma. Prefer college credits/associate degree.
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) 40 HR. Certificate
  • CPI Trained (Current)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 1 year as a registered behavior technician or direct experience (including internship) working with children with ASD/behavior challenges.
  • Demonstrated success/understanding of collecting behavior data and using strategies to positively change behavior.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing behavior intervention plans and strategies.
  • Prefer experience billing ABA services.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist and implement behavior analysis services under the direction and supervision of Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to scheduled caseload of clients.
  • Provide direct one to one, skill acquisition and behavior reduction behavior analysis services to clients in clinic, community, or school setting.
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate data collection of programming each session with client caseload.
  • Collaborate, communicate, and assist with the training of clients, parents, and staff.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for clients and families.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
  • Collect signatures from guardians for each session on the day in which sessions occur and complete all required billing information in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
