Description:
CONTRACT: PERMANENT, 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK
We are currently looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead our specialist Residential Service for adults with complex learning disabilities in Kingstanding, Birmingham.
We provide short-term, respite support to adults with very complex ASC and associated challenges. Our residents deal with a variety of communication challenges, so the maximum capacity of the service is 2 in order to provide the specialised and focussed support needed to provide the best possible service.
ABOUT US:
Respite Breaks Group provides education day services and a small respite break home for autistic adults or adults with learning difficulties and physical disabilities. They support people at 14 sites across the Midlands and are currently working with around 140 young adults.
For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to children, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. As part of Outcomes First Group we are leading our sector in setting and delivering new approaches that provide measurable outcomes for those in our care.
Responsibilities:
DUTIES INCLUDE;
- Management and oversight of day-to-day operations.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organisational policies.
- Supervising and mentoring staff, conducting performance reviews, and facilitating professional development.
- Developing and implementing individualised care plans for our young people.
- Managing budgets, resources, and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Promoting a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for both staff and young people.
