Description:

Our client who are a Nursing Home situated in the beautiful town of Dawlish are looking for a Registered Manager to join their Team.
You will have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and can demonstrate that you have a caring and compassionate disposition.
You will need to show respect and dignity to the people you care for and the people you work with.
You will always be looking to improve care practice, work in partnership and show good communication in your interactions with residents’, their relatives, staff and other professionals.

Experience:

  • Nursing home: 5 years (required

Responsibilities:

Managing all aspects of the home’s operation and ensuring that the tasks are satisfactorily completed.
Developing excellent working relationships with key business partners including but not limited to:
a. Referral sources
b. Regulatory agencies such as CQC, DCC, NHS, etc.
c. Key suppliers such as staffing agencies, medical supply agencies etc.
d. Family members of residents
Being the key public face of the Company and the home. Raise public awareness of the Company and the home by participating or encouraging employee participation in community events.
4. Developing and maintaining an excellent working relationship with staff members. Fully participates and supports 360 reviews and encourages departing staff to participate in exit interviews to be conducted by the Company’s HR consultants. Understands that not all feedback from such surveys is positive and adapts and learns from such feedback.
Creating a positive and safe working environment.
Developing subordinates to ensure that all management tasks are able to be performed by subordinates in the absence of the manager. Ensures that the deputy manager has the skills and confidence to step in in the manager’s absence to perform assessments and placements. Is able to successfully delegate management tasks and ask for help when needed.
Ensuring that the business passes all regulatory inspections and reviews.
Developing and maintaining a positive and close working relationship with the Directors of the Company ensuring the Registered Manager’s duty of trust and confidence is maintained at all times.
Successfully managing the business to achieve satisfactory financial results including an Earnings Before Interest, Depreciation, Amortization and Management Charges (EBITDAM) of at least 25% of revenue, adjusted for 1:1 revenues and related expenses. Understands the factors that drive cost.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
