Maritime Chiropractic & Wellness is currently looking to expand our wellness team! The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong desire to work with a multi-disciplinary team of other healthcare professionals with the ultimate goal of giving the patient the best care possible. You will join a team of chiropractors, massage therapists, physiotherapists, kinesiologist and office administrator.
Job Type: Full-time/ Part-time/ Casual
Location: 1592 Barrington Street, Suite 200, Halifax, NS
Hours: Monday-Friday (hours negotiable)
Compensation: Competitive compensation as an independent contractor.
Experience: Experience an asset, but not necessary (2025 new grads welcome)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active registration with the Massage Therapist Association of Nova Scotia.
• Graduate of a Massage Therapy diploma program.
• Maintains current certification in First Aid and CPR/ AED training.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates ability to work in a team setting amongst other clinicians.
• Successful applicants may be required to provide a criminal record check (including Vulnerable Sector Search) before starting employment and assume any associated costs as a condition of employment.

As a Registered Massage Therapist, you are a key member of patient care in an interdisciplinary team of clinical professionals. Maritime Chiropractic & Wellness is a multi-disciplinary facility that offers services in chiropractic, physiotherapy, massage therapy, and kinesiology. Our clinic also offers a broad scope of services in the injury management and prevention spectrum. The Registered Massage Therapist will be provided full administrative support for booking and billing private insurance, as well as access to clean and folded linens and laundry services on site.
